Direct Data Downloads

Direct Data Downloads is the most cost and time efficient way of obtaining detailed ABS 2006 Census data (Community Profiles).

Hierarchy levels: each data table purchased is supplied in all the hierarchy levels down to either Postcode or Census Collection District (CD) level (groups of about 200 households). Click here for more information about the different levels.

The data tables - see the drop down menu for the full list of table names - are exactly those supplied by the ABS - plus for no additional charge - we also include other, more simplified tables pertaining to data in that same category. One On One Computing Pty Ltd is a licensed distributor of the Australia Bureau of Statistics.

Digital boundaries are also supplied in generic formats, making the data suitable for exporting into mapping or other GIS systems.

 Areas available: Direct Data Tables are available for purchase for all of Australia or for individual States and Territories.

Free report to check variables: by clicking on the data table in the drop menu you are interested in - and then clicking 'go to free report' you will see actual ABS 2006 Census data at State Level. This will assist you in ensuring that you are purchasing the correct data table.
